Centres and Associations promote the work of National Trust and aim to give their members opportunities to share their interests with like-minded people in their area.  There are around 200 such groups all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland.  With a year-long programme of talks, outings, holidays and social events members can make friends, and learn more about our wonderful places.

Centres and Associations are independent, but are affiliated with National Trust and have an approved constitution.  They are voluntary organisations run by National Trust Members and Volunteers, and have a small subscription charge to cover administration costs.

Shropshire National Trust Centre was founded in 1972, and is run by an elected committee.  We arrange monthly talks, organise social events, day trips and longer holidays, and produce a newsletter.

We are self-supporting and raise money for National Trust through our activities.  New faces and new ideas are always welcome.

Membership is open to anyone interested in supporting the National Trust.  Annual Membership cost is £10.00 per person.
